We offer high-quality training programmes complemented by a wide range of extracurricular activities.

The courses are inspired by the ancient artistic workshops, places where learning was born from direct experience and the living transmission of knowledge. In these environments, the young artist did not simply study the technique of the brush; they absorbed culture, observed the world, reflected on beauty and nature, and then returned to their work transformed by everything they had experienced and thought.

Within this holistic and deeply human vision of artistic education, theory and practice were never separate: they were two sides of the same coin, the thought and the gesture of the same body. This is the vision that Accademia Perosi seeks to restore and renew, placing the student at the absolute centre of the educational journey, recognising the uniqueness of each individual, and creating a personalised path for every student, designed to enhance their most authentic qualities and allow their expressive potential to flourish in its truest and most personal form.

From this foundation grows the belief that the most authentic artistic education cannot be separated from the humanistic culture that nourishes it; that thought and gesture must come together in a single, inseparable journey, along which students develop not only as performers but also as human beings and complete artists.

Here, technique and culture are not two parallel paths that run without ever meeting: they are a single way forward, where art history, the philosophy of beauty, literature, poetics and aesthetics become the fertile ground from which every authentic expression grows. At the same time, daily performance practice, refined with craftsmanship and meticulous attention to technical and interpretative detail, becomes the language through which everything that is known and felt takes living, communicable form.

The individual dimension, however, does not represent the entire educational journey. Accademia Perosi firmly believes that each person’s artistic identity does not emerge through isolation, but through dialogue, and that chamber music — understood as a broader metaphor for every collective dimension of education — is the privileged space where individuality is not lost, but enriched, refined and discovered through interaction with the voices of others.

In this vibrant space of exchange, personal talent does not remain a private possession, but becomes a shared gift: a contribution to an artistic and intellectual community in which each person brings their own identity and receives something far greater in return.

The teachers of Accademia Perosi fully embody this dual dimension: they are masters of performance practice and intellectuals deeply rooted in humanistic culture, mentors who accompany each student with attentiveness, respect and dedication, creating living bridges between cultural heritage and contemporary expression, between what is known and what one wishes to communicate.

Because here, we do not simply educate those who know how to play. We educate those who know what they have to say — and how to say it to the world.

The Accademia Perosi Foundation of Biella was officially recognised on 4 December 2024, by decree of the Italian Ministry of University and Research, granting the qualifications awarded to its students the same legal value as university degrees.

For the purposes of participation in public competitions, the Accademia Perosi degree qualifications are equivalent to the First and Second Level Academic Diplomas issued by AFAM institutions (Higher Education in Art, Music and Dance) under Article 1, paragraphs 102–107, of the 2013 Stability Law (Law no. 228/2012).

A dedicated MiUR–MiC technical advisory committee examined the applications submitted by Accademia Perosi and recognised the equivalence of its qualifications to the Bachelor’s Degree L-3 “Disciplines of the Visual Arts, Music, Performing Arts and Fashion” and to the Master’s Degree LM-45 “Musicology and Cultural Heritage” for six programmes: PIANO, FLUTE, VIOLIN, VIOLA, CELLO, CHAMBER MUSIC.
